I obtained my Master Degree in Organic Chemistry from Jagiellonian University (UJ) located in Cracow (Poland) in 2008. During my studies at UJ I spent six months at University of Barcelona as Erasmus Program exchange student, working in the group of Prof. Josep M. Ribó. After finalizing my Master Degree, I travelled to Berkeley (California, USA) where I spent two years as Guest Scientist in the group of Miquel Salmeron at Materials Sciences Division of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL). In 2012 I was back to Barcelona starting my PhD at Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) in the frame of Marie Curie FP7 project called RADDEL. My PhD investigation was based at Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ICN2) under the supervision of Dr Belén Ballesteros on "Electron Microscopy studies of functional carbon nanotubes" and resulted in obtaining the PhD degree in Materials Science. In 2016 I started to work in a project financed by a private company with Dr Albert Verdaguer at ICN2, followed by a Postdoctoral stage in Oxide Nanophysics group with Dr Neus Domingo. In 2018 I was awarded with the Juan de la Cierva Postdoctoral grant to work in Nanostructured Materials Department at Institute of Materials Science of Barcelona (ICMAB-CSIC), where I am currently employed.
Doctorate, University and Year:
PhD in Materials Science from Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona (UAB).
