Bio

PhD student at Institut de Ciència de Materials (ICMAB-CSIC) in Barcelona (Spain) with the "Ayudas para contratos predoctorales para la formación de doctores 2014" scholarship from the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness. The title of my dissertation is "Preparation and characterization of biomolecule-functionalized nanoconjugates and its relation to the degree of cellular internalization". 

Research interest

Since 2013, I have been working in Nanomol Group (from the ICMAB-CSIC), using compressed fluids to precipitate nanoestructured polymers, and then to prepare nanovesicles by DELOS-SUSP method. I also worked with characterization techniques as DLS, cryo-TEM, HPLC, Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis; and worked with cell cultures of HeLa, flow citometry and laser scanning confocal microscopy. Nowadays, I am learning alignment and reconstruction of tomograms acquired by cryo-SXT in the beamline Mistral of ALBA synchrotron.
