My name is Katiane, I am currently PhD student on Physics at the Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC), Brazil. Under supervisor of Dr. Paulo T. C. Freire. Where the research is related to Condensed Matter specifially light scattering. Due a financial support in sanduiche program from my country I have a opportunity to visit along one year the Institute of Materials Science of Barcelona (ICMAB). In this institute I am working under supervision of Dr. Alejandro Goñi and our focus in on Raman spectroscopy an fotoluminescencia in proteins hunder high pressure. My education and professional background has provided me experience at high pressure Raman scattering and in organic and inorganic materials. Is with pleasure and happiness that I am in this country with new experience on science and life.
