Hi! My name is Jorge and I am from Oviedo (Asturias). I completed my degree in Chemistry at the University of Oviedo.

I spent my last year as Erasmus student at the University of Liverpool (UK), where I also obtained an MsC in Catalysis and a PhD in the synthesis and applications of novel Metal-organic frameworks (MOF´s) working under the supervision of Professor Matthew J. Rosseinsky. For the last 30 months, I worked as Project Manager at Anes Innovación, offering full assessment to industrial partners in the preparation of R&D projects in fields like food waste management, elimination of emerging contaminants in wastewater or valorisation of industrial wastes. I´ve joined ICMAB as contracted staff researcher, working as Project Manager for the RADDEL FP7 project (Nanocapsules for targeted delivery of radioactivity) under the supervision of Dr. Gerard Tobias.
