PhD Thesis Offer - Photonic Electrodes for Enhanced Light Matter Interaction in Optoelectronic Devices
We are looking for motivated candidates to work in one (or more) of the following
1. Design and Theoretical simulation of the optical properties of photonic architectures using FDTD, MEEP , Matlab, etc.
2. Fabrication of photonic architectures by soft nanoimprinting technology (PDMS, photoresist handling, clean room experience), self-assembly, solution processing plus combinations of sol-gel routes, nanocrystal synthesis, electrodeposition and other wet chemistry approaches.
3. Fabrication of solar cells (i.e.:organic and emerging Organo-metal halide perovskitebased) by solution processing and electrodeposition. Implementation of photonic architectures within these solar cells.
4. Characterization of the optical (UV-VIS-NIR Microespectrocopy) and electrical properties (J-V, EQE, time response, PL, Raman) of photonically enhanced devices.
