In 2020, the ICMAB will be present at the next edition of YoMo "Youth Mobile" conference (25-29 Feb 2020) with two activities around women in science: the dramatised reading "Madame Châtelet and her Instagram followers", which visibilized women scientists of our history, and the talk "The hidden truth: Women behing the periodic table", which talks about the different periodic table elements that have been discovered by women and some curiosity around women and the chemical elements. Both activities will take place on Thursday, 27 February 2020 at La Farga de l'Hospitalet.

Dramatised reading: Madame Châtelet and her Instagram followers

Come and discover the women scientists of all times!

Do you know many women scientists? Surely there are many around you! Come and see this play to discover some of the most wise scientists in history. You will discover some of their discoveries and we are sure you will learn new things! In addition, their creators and performers are also women scientists!

The hidden truth: women behing the periodic table

How many women do you see in the periodic table?

Science has not made it easy for women, and this is also true in the case of the periodic table. However, there are some elements that have been discovered by women, or with their important implication. We'll talk a little bit about that to learn more about our scientific past.

You can register to both activites at the YoMo website!
