This next Thursday, 31 January 2019 at 7 pm, Susagna Ricart, researcher at the Superconducting and Large Scale Nanostructures (SUMAN) group, and also member of the "Madame Châtelet" cast, will give a talk to visibilize brave women of history.
The talk is in the framework of the event organized at the "Espai de Lliure Creació Carme Maleret" in Sant Just Desvern entitled "Dos llenguatges que es complementen".
The event will start with Pilar Carceller, which will talk about brave women during the war and the postwar times and about her book "La llibreta blava".
Following this talk, Susagna Ricart will introduce us some brave women that were invisible during their lives in the talk entitled "Molière no tenia raó... o les dones sàvies". Scientists that with their discoveries they participated in the advance of the society. We will travel through time with stories from Hypatia of Alexandria, Trota de Salerno, Hildegard von Bingen, Beatriu de Pinós, Maria Sibylla Merian, Ada Lovelace, Nettie Stevens, Rosalind Franklin and Margarita Salas.
