Many ICMAB young researchers at the "Desena Trobada de Joves Investigadors"

The "Desena Trobada de Joves Investigadors dels Països Catalans" (10th Meeting of Young Researchers of the Catalan Countries) was held this year on 29-30 January 2018 at the Institut d'Estudis Catalans (IEC) in Barcelona. The meeting, organized by the Societat Catalana de Química (SCQ) is held every two years. This year, many ICMAB members were there to present their work and meet other chemists and researchers.

The objectives of the meeting are:

  • Facilitate knowledge of current research topics of the different research groups that work in chemistry in the Catalan Countries.
  • Encourage young researchers to be the protagonists of the dissemination of their work to the rest of the scientific community.
  • Promote communication between researchers working in the different disciplines of chemistry.
The meeting expects the participation of the young researchers, but also of their supervisors and to all the chemists working in research.

    • Adriana R. Kyvic, Institut de Ciència de Materials de Barcelona (ICMAB-CSIC), Centre de Recerca en Bioenginyeria, Biomaterials i Nanomedicina (CIBER-BBN).
  • Quatsomes: nous sistemes nanovesiculars per al suministre intravenós d’actius terapèutics.

  • Encapsulació d’una proteïna dins un corset inorgànic.

Nora Ventosa, researcher at the NANOMOL group at ICMAB, is also member of the SCQ, and participated as organizer and chair of the meeting.
