Dr. Mahdi Chaari defended his PhD Thesis on December 7, 2018, at the Université de Sfax (Tunisia), obtaining the highest mark Mention Très Honorable avec les félicitations du jury. His supervisor from the ICMAB-CSIC, Dr. Rosario Núñez, was very happy for him. The thesis was entitled "Synthesis and characterization of new carborane derivatives for photo-optical and medicinal applications".
