During the last 10-12 July, more than 50 members of ICMAB spent three days in Sant Feliu de Guíxols for the Nanoselect Network Of Excellence Annual Meeting 2017. The three days were filled with talks and poster sessions, of many interesting topics.

Ignasi Fina, Postoctoral Researcher at the MULFOX group at ICMAB, has been awarded with the First Prize of the Young Researchers Award - Postdoctoral Researchers category, for his contribution to the XXXXI Biennial Meeting of the RSEF (Real Sociedad Española de Física) 2017 and for his excellent research career.

The Institute of Materials Science of Barcelona (ICMAB), in collaboration with the pharmaceutical company Almirall, and the Leitat Technology Center, will develop two types of nanocapsules with active principles for the treatment of inflammatory skin diseases such as acne and psoriasis.
