Also, remember that JoVE (Journal of Visualized Experiments) is thhe first peer-reviewed, PubMed-indexed scientific video journal. Scientists can publish their high-qualitiy video demonstrations of experiments with a detailed text protocol, allowing researchers around the globe to learn from each other easily and efficiently.

At ICMAB, Martí Gich and Adrián Carretero-Genevrier publised a scientific video on JoVE on December 21, 2015. The video, entitled “Preparation of macroporous epitaxial quartz films on silicon by chemical solution deposition” (A Carretero-Genevrier, M Gich) presents the protocol for the preparation of piezoelectric macroporous epitaxial films of quartz on silicon by soft chemistry using dip-coating and thermal treatments in air.
