Neil Lamas

Hi, My name is Neil. I am a physics engineer from Belgium with a background in nuclear fusion. I got enrolled as a PhD student here at ICMAB in January 2021 to work on high energy applications of HTS coated conductors. Applying concepts of advanced physics to real world applications has always been a strong drive for me, and doing it while living in the delightful city of Barcelona feels great! Besides physics, I am interested in other fields of Science such as neurology and kinesitherapy, and I always enjoy dancing/doing sport, especially on the beach!
