Abstract:

The program consists of short-talks by former PhD students, from 9h00 to 13h00. There will be a coffee break from 10:30am to 11am. The event, including attendance to talks and coffee break, is open to all members of ICMAB. The meeting will focus on the past and present experience of the participants and their view on the evolution of the scientific area of functional materials (magnetic, ferroelectric, multiferroic), superconductors and oxide electronics. In these areas Pep Fontcuberta has played a fundamental role, with an activity which has been internationally recognized at the highest level.
