The Fundación Mujeres por África (Women for Africa Foundation) hosted a special event on June 18, 2025, at its headquarters in Madrid to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Science by Women program—an initiative that has, over the past decade, empowered more than 175 African women scientists through research stays in Spain.
On Tuesday, 6 May 2025, ICMAB researcher M. Rosa Palacín took part in the roundtable “What is the impact of gender bias in science?” at the Parliament of Catalonia. The event marked the inauguration of the exhibition “Científiques Catalanes 2.0”.
The recognition of CSIC as an EU Gender Equality Champion highlights its commitment to fostering an inclusive research environment. This achievement reflects the collective efforts of all CSIC institutes, including ICMAB.
