Inauguration of the new NMR at the UB

A unique NMR infrastructure in Europe at the UB with new superconducting technology

On 10 March 2023 , the new 1 GHz NMR spectrometer was inaugurated at the Scientific and Technical Services of the UB (CCITUB).

ICMAB played an essential role in the development of the high-temperature superconductors installed in this new NMR.

Two innovations from ICMAB at Foro Transfiere 2023: hydrogels for cell culture and sensor to measure water pollutants

The forum for Science, Technology and Innovation took place on 15-17 February 2023in Málaga.

Transifere is a professional, multisector forum aimed at knowledge transfer, with a focus on business opportunities and networking. It is one of the biggest events in the south of Europe.

Themed panels and conferences afford attendees the chance to get information from relevant sources in science, technology and business. The topic of this year's Transfiere is "Boosting Innovation".

Colloidal inks for superconducting materials growth

A new technology to manufacture superconductors will enter the Lab to Market (L2M) XRE4S program

The technology was presented by the Superconducting Materials and Large Scale Nanostructures (SUMAN) group, led by Teresa Puig. 

The technology "Colloidal inks for superconductors (HTS-INKS)" has been accepted to participate in the next Lab to Market (L2M) program organized by the Energy for Society Network (XRE4S) as announced on 16 March 2022.

The L2M program is a technology transfer and valorization program to boost the impact of energy technology transfer to the industry in Catalonia. In this third edition of the L2M program, the XRE4S experts committee has selected eight technologies from IREC, UPC, UdG and ICMAB-CSIC to take part in the program.

Nanomol Technologies will participate in a new Industrial Doctorate Project

Nanomol Technologies has obtained an AGAUR grant in the 2020 call to participate in an Industrial Doctorate project in collaboration with the ICMAB. The project, entitled “Synthesis of new vesicular systems for the integration of biomolecules” will allow a PhD candidate to carry out the PhD Thesis project between both entities during 3 years.

The ICMAB will participate in the new edition of the Open Innovation Forum 2020

This year's edition of the Open Innovation Forum is already in its way. An open innovation program that gives companies the opportunity to launch their innovation challenges and obtain proposals for solutions from research groups and centers. The UAB Research Park (PRUAB) is organising this forum together with other universities and organisations, and the ICMAB will participate in this year's edition, like it did in the last edition, with Alfonso del Rey coordinating our Technology Transfer challenges.

The ICMAB participates in the Open Innovation Forum 2019

The ICMAB is involved in the Open Innovation Forum 2019, where companies launch technological challenges and universities and research centres suggest solutions.
