The position offered are in the framework of a national project funded by the AEI (proyectos de transición ecológica y transición digital 2021) in collaboration with the group of Dr. Juan José Vilatela (IMDEA Materiales, Madrid).
The project main objective is to advance the development of the next generation of Lithium-ion batteries by achieving high capacity retention in high energy density cells via interface engineering of electrodes and optimization of electrolyte formulation.
The successful candidate preferentially has prior experience in polymer electrolyte for battery. Knowledge on spectroscopic characterization techniques (FTIR, RAMAN) and electrochemistry will be valued.
The applicant should hold a PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, or related disciplines.
