Next 10th of November 2026, we will host our first ever Scientific Communication in Materials Science Congress!
This 10th of November 2026, we will host our first ever Scientific Communication in Materials Science Congress at Casa de la Convalescència.
We will start at 9.00 with the welcome, followed by the plenary session by Mark Miodownik and two keynote talks, by Núria Coll (who was our first Journalist in Residence) and Montserrat Capella (ESRF). After the coffe break, there will be two more keynote talks, by Michele Catanzaro (UAB) and Julia Parker (DLS). To finish the morning, we will have a round table with all participants in the morning session.
All these talks will be in English.
After lunch, we will have a Catalan session. We will start the afternoon with three talks: by Marx Masip (VerifiCat), Agustí Nieto (iHC) and Laura Francés (La Vanguardia). This will be followed as well by a round table.
