CSIC, 14 Nov 2018: Professional careers for researchers beyond the academic world

The young researchers who are being trained in our research groups will be key to addressing the future challenges of research and the new challenges of society. From the ICMAB-CSIC, in addition to their scientific training, we help them to know the wide range of professional perspectives that a PhD opens in other areas besides the academic world.

In line with the "The Seven Principles of Innovative Doctoral Training" and as the comprehensive training of researchers is one of the main functions of the CSIC (Art 5 CSIC Estatuto), from the Department of Postgraduate and Specialization (DPE) we have organized the "Jornada de iniciación a carreras profesionales para investigadores más allá del mundo académico" for next November 14, 2018 aimed at all researchers, and given by Manuel Castellano, Neuroscientist, job advisor and selection consultant.

The event will take place at the CSIC Auditorium, in Madrid, although the first part of the conference will be open to any member of the academic community, and streamed. At the ICMAB, we will offer the conference at the Sala d'Actes Carles Miravitlles.
