David Amabilino has been awarded the Hermanos Elhuyar-Hans Goldschmidt Lectureship for 2011 (Premio Hispano-Alemán Hermanos Elhúyar-Hans Goldschmidt de 2011) an award presented jointly by the Royal Spanish Chemical Society and the German Chemical Society. As part of the award, three lectures will be presented in German Universities later in the year.

David wishes to express his deepest gratitude to all his coworkers, collaborators, and colleagues who have contributed in various ways to the work which his has led to this honour.
