M. Rosa Palacín, named Académica Correspondiente of the RAC
The Real Academia de Ciencias (RAC) has named ICMAB researcher M. Rosa Palacín Académica Correspondiente of this entity, at the proposal of Prof Miguel Ángel Alario, Prof. Arturo Romero and Prof Avelino Corma.

M. Rosa Palacín, ICMAB researcher and specialist in battery research and solid state chemistry, is the newest member of the Real Academia de Ciencias.
The RAC is a public institution whose purpose is to promote the study, research and social dissemination of the Mathematical, Physical, Chemical, Geological and Biological Sciences and their applications, as well as to promote support for them.
Palacín said: 'I feel sincerely honoured and I want to acknowledge both the people I've worked with throughout my career and Prof. Miguel Alario for leading the initiative to present my candidacy. I will do my best to promote materials chemistry in the field of electrochemical energy storage'.
