  • Energy conversion & storage
  • Molecular and oxide electronics
  • Power applications
  • Nanostructured biomaterials
The deadline for the applications is November 30th, 2017.

The project aims to attract excellent and talented young researchers in an extensive and dedicated training programme, which includes secondments, workshops, schools and non-research oriented skills. Each fellowship covers lilving and mobility allowances, PhD tuition fees and research, and training and networking costs.

About DOC-FAM:

DOC-FAM is an excellence DOCtoral training programme in Functional Advanced Materials awarded to the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) in the H2020-MSCA-COFUND-2016 Call and coordinated through the Institute of Materials Science of Barcelona (ICMAB) in collaboration with several partner research institutions from the area, four of them contributing to the co-funding of the programme: the Catalan Institute of Nanoscience & Nanotechnology (ICN2), the Catalonia Institute for Energy Research (IREC), the Barcelona Microelectronics Institute of the National Microelectronics Centre (IMB-CNM-CSIC) and ALBA Synchrotron (ALBA-CELLS)During the 60 months of duration of the programme, two calls will be launched for the recruitment of 22 Marie-Skłodowska-Curie Early-Stage Researchers (ESRs) during 36 months each.

DOC-FAM has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant agreement No 754397.

ICMAB acknowledges financial support from the Spanish Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness, through the “Severo Ochoa” Programme for Centres of Excellence in R&D (SEV- 2015-0496).
