In this event, the UAB shows its innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem and is centered on the technologies and innovative knowledge generated on campus. Its goals are to make visible the UAB's commitment to innovation and its ecosystem from the perspective of different agents, sectors and groups, to connect the entrepreneurial ecosystem and knowledge of the UAB campus with the business sector, the network of public and private investors and knowledge centres, to link UAB research with the challenges of the B30 territory, to relate research and entrepreneurial staff from different areas of knowledge in order to increase the competitiveness of business initiatives and finally to encourage innovative and entrepreneurial spirit and promote female entrepreneurship.

This year, ICMAB will be represented by three different groups:

• Nanomol TECNIO (Nora Ventosa's group)
• Laser processing Research (Ángel Pérez del Pino' group), promoting, specifically, their capacity to prepare electrodes for superconducting aplicabilities)
• FunNanoSurf (Núria Aliaga's group) (with their patent: Device for vacuum sublimation (icmab.es))

And two spin-offs:

• Nanomol Technologies (Nora Ventosa's spin-off)
• Molecular Gate (Mariano Campoy's spin-off)

The event will take place on UAB Hotel EXE on Tuesday, 15 October, from 9:30 AM to 3 PM.

Reserachers will meet with several researchers from the UAB campus or from different companies in order to discuss further research and collaboration.
