At 12.00 PM, Anna Laromaine, as coordinator of ICMAB's Research Line Materials for Health will give a talk in the Sala de Graus of the Faculty of Sciences and Biosciences:
Materials research for health has a solid trajectory at the ICMAB, with established, internationally recognized researchers leading research at national and international levels and infrastructures. ICMAB capitalized on developing advanced, bioactive, and innovative materials and processes to produce them, tuning their properties, and applying them in drug delivery, cancer therapies, nanocarriers, and theranostics in collaboration with biomedical experts. This talk will provide information on the different groups at the ICMAB working in Materials for health.
At 3.00 PM and in the same room, Jordi Esqué, project coordinator and employment counsellor, will talk about how to make the most of employment portals and other job search resources, including Nexus.
This session is organised by the UAB Faculty of Biosciences and the UAB Employment Service with the aim of creating a space for students, companies and institutions to connect with the world of work, establish professional links and explore different opportunities in the field of biosciences.
Apart from the talks, the ICMAB "Materials for Health" research line will have a stand at the BioHub, in which the researchers of the different reserach groups will be able to talk and answer any doubts that the students may have, and inform them about the possibility of doing an internship with us. Research in nanomedicine, biomaterials and sustainable materials will be showcased.
The online session will take place on 7 May, during which ICMAB will have a virtual stand offering internship and job opportunities that students will be able to apply for directly.
