To mark the International Day of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology on 9 October, 2023, the Advanced Materials Cluster of Catalonia (MAV) is hosting NanoDAY, a multi-sector conference focusing on trends and successful applications of nanoscience and nanotechnology in Catalonia. The ICMAB, a member of the cluster, will participate through its Technology Transfer Unit. 

The event will comprise a state-of-the-art overview, including the unveiling of the II White Paper on Nanotechnology, along with presentations showcasing successful application cases by companies. One of the morning's key highlights will be the presentation of NanoHUB.cat, a new platform designed to connect organizations working in the field of nanotechnology, aiming to enhance their capabilities and competitiveness. This presentation will be delivered by Magdalena Valldosera, Project Manager at MAV Cluster, and Alfonso del Rey, Technology Transfer Officer at ICMAB-CSIC.

The free-access event will be held at the Aula Magna Enric Casassas, situated within the Faculty of Physics and Chemistry at the University of Barcelona.
