Jordi gave a presentation in front of a very large audience reviewing his contributions in the understanding of nanomaterials structures by using the most advanced electron microscopy techniques. He mostly focused on complex semiconductor non-planar nanostructures and the correlation between the structure and morphology at the atomic scale with their physical properties (e.g.: optical) at the nanoscale. Audience was truly amazed by the images and models showed by him and his level of expertise in the field.
