ICMAB has the need to automate the process of the edge removal on different HTSC tapes. This process is a requirement to successfully delaminate the tapes. For that we need the following steps:
- Design of the “Laser edge removal machine for HTSC tapes” according to our specifications (contact us for more details). This must includes the design and calculations for the following systems: mechanics, electrics, electronics, controls and software, Graphical User Interface, safety systems, accessories, structure…
- Fabrication of all the mechanical components and purchasing of all commercial components.
- Assembly, integration and functional tests.
- Setup of the laser settings to achieve optimal performance.
- Attendance to kick-off meeting, specification meeting, follow up meeting
