The poster he presented was about urface magnetoelectric effects, which have recently emerged as a promising avenue for enhancing the efficiency of spintronic devices. He presented an alternative methodology to detect and quantify surface magnetoelectric effects on in-plane magnetized thin films based on the second harmonic Hall approach. Due to its high sensitivity, the method is suited for systems in which magnetic detection is more complex, such as magnetic oxides.
