Open call for JAE Intro 2018: CSIC Introduction to research grants for undergraduate and master students

The CSIC launches the JAE-Intro 2018: Introduction to research fellowships for undergratuate and master students with the objective to introduce students to research career.

ICMAB offers a total of 13 projects within this call in Materials Science research: organic solar cells, multi-material nanoparticles, organic transistors, optical surfaces, superconducting devices, photonic structures, photoabsorber materials, low-density materials, nanoparticles for cancer therapy, transparent metals, magnetic memories, nanovesicles for therapy and quatsomas.

The 200 fellowships offered by the CSIC, of 2,500 € each, consist of 300 hours of funded and mentored research training period at one of CSIC’s research institutes during the academic year 2018-2019, to be carried out in consecutive months for a maximum period of 4 months.

Applicants: Students who have completed at least 50% of the credits (ECTS) corresponding to their degree and those that have not completed their undergraduate or graduate studies prior to the 2016-2017 academic year. The applications have to be sent through the telematic application: https://www.convocatorias.csic.es/convoca/ from 3 May 2018 to 1 June 2018.

The fellowships are for all of CSIC's scientific areas. The applicants should have an average grade equal or higher than 8.00 (Arts and Humanities, Sciences, Health Sciences and Social and Legal Sciences) or than 7.00 (Engineering and Architecture).
