Nowadays, Pharmaceutical Industry can’t innovate without collaboration. The collaboration can be stablished with other Pharmaceutical companies with different models, but it can be stablished, as well, with public research entities. In my talk I will give a general overview of the Public-private partnerships in Pharma Industry and will explain in more detail partnership’s ALMIRALL policy and our open innovation initiative.
Maribel Crespo is PhD in Engineering Chemistry by the Instituto Químico de Sarrià. She did her thesis in the CID-CSIC in the group of materials science led by Prof. Jaume Veciana. In 1992 she joined ALMIRALL, first in the Medical Chemistry Department and since 2011 as a scientific leader in the Research Alliances Department.
