The superconducting materials of the EUROTAPES European project at Catalunya Informació

The main objectives and results of the EUROTAPES European project are featured in the Catalunya Informació radio program "Som com som: un espai d'innovació i talent" with Purificació Barceló. Prof. Xavier Obradors and Prof. Teresa Puig explain some of the main features of the project:

Dec 5, 2017

The EUROTAPES European project, coordinated by ICMAB-CSIC, had a budget of nearly 20 M€ for 5 years, and more than 20 partners. The results were presented this last March 2017 in Barcelona

    30 June 2021 1545 hit(s) Press
A study published in Science Advances reports on the unexpected observation of thermal waves in germanium, a semiconductor material. This phenomenon may allow a significant improvement in the performance of our electronic devices in a near future. The study is led by researchers from the Institute of Materials Science of Barcelona (ICMAB, CSIC) in collaboration with researchers from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, and the University of Cagliari.
