Judit Tomsen-Melero, BSc in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (2016) from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and MSc in Biomedicine (2017) from the Universitat de Barcelona. She enrolled in Nanomol group (ICMAB-CSIC) to carry out her PhD thesis work. She obtained her PhD (2021) under the supervision of Dr. Nora Ventosa and Dr. Elisabet González.
Judit Tomsen-Melero's research is mainly focused on the development of drug delivery systems for its use in nanomedicine field. During her PhD thesis, she has studied the use of new lipid-based nanovesicular systems functionalized with targeting-ligands to supply therapeutic enzymes through biological membranes.
