Biography
Guillem Vargas studied Nanoscience and Nanotechnology in Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and he finished in 2015. The next year he did a Master of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biomedicine in Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Now, he is a PhD student in the Nanomol Group, in the Institut de Ciència de Materials de Barcelona (ICMAB-CSIC).
Research interest
Guillem Vargas has interest in nanomedicie. Specially in the development of new drug-delivery systems. in his PhD he is trying to develop a new nano-vesicular system to act as a nano-carrier of molecules, drugs or nucleic acids. Also he has interest on simulate this new vesicles with molecular dynamics and compare the theoretical results with the experimental results.
