On March 4, ICMAB will hold its Welcome Day to greet the new members of our research community. This event, organized to introduce newcomers to the institute, will provide a great opportunity to meet colleagues, learn about ICMAB’s structure, and get familiar with the resources available.
The day will start with a welcome speech from a member of our Executive Team (Director and Vicedirectors), who will highlight ICMAB’s mission and commitment to scientific excellence. The talk will include a presentation of the institute, covering its research areas and facilities.
The program will continue with a session on Occupational Health and Safety by Roberta Ceravola, followed by an overview of Administrative Services and Strategic Units by Dolors Grillo. Then, Núria Crivillers will introduce the Scientific and Technical Services, and a member of the Early Stage Researchers Team will present the group activity and the social activities at ICMAB.
The event will conclude with a group photo and an informal coffee break, providing attendees with the opportunity to network in a relaxed atmosphere.
The Welcome Day, organized by the Talent Office, will be held every six months to ensure that all newcomers receive a warm reception and a smooth integration into ICMAB. At this first edition, we welcome all the newcomers as well as all the staff who might be interested in getting to know more the Institute and their colleagues.
Please register here if you will attend the welcome day, so we can plan the session properly (internal event only).
