The ICMAB Gender Equality and Diversity Committee has launched a new Decalogue of Best Practices in Gender Equality and Inclusion, a set of ten key principles designed to foster a fair, respectful, and inclusive working environment across all areas of the Institute.
This initiative comes as part of ICMAB’s ongoing commitment to promote equality, tolerance, and diversity in the scientific community. The Decalogue serves as a code of conduct to guide the daily interactions, decisions, and activities of all ICMAB members — from research and management to communication and outreach.
The ten points of the Decalogue address essential aspects such as:
The document reinforces ICMAB’s alignment with the CSIC’s Equality Plan and the Institute’s own internal Action Plan and policies on diversity and well-being. It will serve as a practical framework for all ICMAB members to ensure respectful interactions and inclusive collaboration at every level.
