A European event
The European Researchers' Night is a European public event organized by the European Commission within the Marie Sktodowsca-Curie framework of the Horizon Europe program. It is celebrated in 26 European countries at the same time, with the objective of making the innovation and research topics being developed in Europe more approachable to the public.
The European Researchers' Night in Catalunya is coordinated by the Catalan Association of Science Communication (ACCC). The project is possible thanks to the co-funding of the Horizon Europe research and innovation program of the European Union, and the collaboration of the consortium formed by the University of Girona (UdG) (coordinating entity of the project and of the Girona node), the University of Barcelona (UB) and the Institut de Salut Global de Barcelona (ISGlobal) (coordinating entities of the Barcelona node), the University of Lleida (UdL) (coordinator of the Lleida node), the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV) (coordinator of the node of Tarragona), and the University of Vic - Universitat Central de Catalunya (UVic-UCC) (coordinator of the central Catalonia node).
