Joseth Pachacama

Hello!

My name is Joseth Pachacama, and I’m from Ecuador. I’m thrilled to be one of the selected candidates for the second call of the DOCFAM+ doctoral program. It’s an honor to be part of ICMAB. During my Master’s in Physics and Technology of Materials in Italy, I had the chance to focus on the study and characterization of chiral structures and bioinspired metastructures. I’m excited to be working under the supervision of Dr. Nuria Aliaga and Dr. Esther Barrena on the project “Sensing platforms based on functionalized graphene with bioinspired molecules.”
I’m a dedicated, curious person with a passion for learning. Beyond academics, I’ve volunteered at the Suyay Foundation, where I worked with children from the rural areas of my hometown, Mejía. My motto is: perfection is not always possible, but the effort to reach it definitely is.
