Sara Marina

Sara is a PhD student at POLYMAT located in Donostia-San Sebastian, investigating and understanding the microstructure of non-fullerene based organic solar cells. She obtained her bachelors degree 2016 in chemistry focussing on coordination complexes. Before acquiring her master degree dealing with the synthesis of novel polymers, she broadened her horizon and grew knowledge about analytical chemistry in an industrial quality control lab. Driven by her passion for knowledge, she decided to undertake a PhD program, where she benefits from her multidisciplinary background and especially from her knowledge about polymer chemistry, which helps understanding the complex physical behavior of materials used in organic photovoltaics.
