Blai Casals

Dr. Blai Casals Montserrat has defended his PhD thesis, entitled "Magneto-optical spectroscopy and domain imaging of functional oxides"on Friday, September 15th, at 11 am. The ICMAB Sala d'actes Carles Miravitlles was not big enough to fit all the people, including ICMAB colleagues, friends and family, who attented the PhD defense!

Dr. Alexander Stangl, former PhD researcher under the supervision of Prof. Teresa Puigand Dr. Anna Palau (Superconducting and Large Scale Nanostructures group at ICMAB) defended his PhD thesis entitled "Oxygen kinetics and charge doping for high critical current YBCO films" publicly on 20 March 2019 at the ICMAB-CSIC Auditorium. Dr. Xavier Palmer Paricio from the Superconducting Materials and Large Scale Nanostructures (SUMAN) group at ICMAB defended his PhD thesislast Tuesday, 13 November 2018.His thesis was about the synthesis of superconducting tapes and ceramic microfibers by the chemical solution depositon (CSD) method.

Dr. Mahdi Chaari defended his PhD Thesis on December 7, 2018, at the Université de Sfax (Tunisia), obtaining the highest mark Mention Très Honorable avec les félicitations du jury. His supervisor from the ICMAB-CSIC, Dr. Rosario Núñez, was very happy for him.
